It was at the end of another lockdown. I understand the need for it, of course, I don’t like it either. This time people are only restricted to travel within the county. One of the places which I never visited before was Murder Hole Beach. Some friends were raving about this place and I thought I came close to visiting the place before but wasn’t able to because it was high tide. I wanted to take this opportunity to pay a visit to this place. I haven’t been to this area in a while so I think it would be a good refresher. A friend of mine was talking about it the previous year and they were lucky to get there before all the lockdowns happened.
Murder Hole Beach in the Melmore. I remember going there before and admiring the cliffs and seascapes here. I thought to just drive up to Melmore Head and figure out how to get there once I arrive. I was told that there is a path across some farmland for people to access the beach. When I arrived, I reached what appears to be a park for holiday homes. There was a sign here which says that there is no entry here. I was confused. However a kid told me that the landowners have closed the path. I wasn’t sure what happened but I could guess that there must have been some unruly visitors here which forced the landowner to close the path. The landowner keeps farm animals here so I might have been that they were disturbed by the rowdy visitors. It is a shame but I totally understand their reasons.
