I was very pleased to visit the beach at Magheraclogher. Like a lot of places here in Donegal, this beach seems like the result of a massive accumulation of sand over the years. The beach appears to be one that is very flat which is good, but at the same time, because it is so flat, the water seems to coming up very fast. It wasn’t just a few minutes ago that I left the beach itself to explore the other parts that it by the time I was done, the whole place was already flooded. I can see the spot where I was near the shipreck and it is already underwater.

At this point, I tried looking for a spot where I can see the entire place. I saw one just behind the beach where there is a hotel. The hotel doesn’t seem to be in operation for a while now, I wasn’t sure if it was because of the pandemic or it was already abandoned before that. There is an area where you can park the car above the beach and have a great view of it at the same time. I can clearly see the beach below and how full of water the area has become. I spent the rest of the afternoon napping. I doubt you can do this when the hotel is back in operation.
