Going to the Torc Waterfall

I started out early in the morning the following day in Killarney, hoping to make the most of the day. I know that the weather isn’t predicted to be nice but I was hoping that I would get a few minutes of nice weather in between. There are a few places of interest around Killarney. I know that when I did the ring of Kerry the last time, almost intentionally left out Killarney because it was out of the way. I was coming in from Kenmare and I was going to do the ring from there clockwise. I would not be able to afford to go to Killarney only to go back to Kenmare. Lo and behold, I am back here and I have a couple of days to spend in Killarney town so I would like to see the sights here.

I am planning to do a little ring of Killarney, it is not exactly a formal route but I think it would bring me to all the important sights here in Killarney. My first top is actually not too far away from where I was yesterday at the Killarney National Park. Technically, I’m still within the park grounds since it covers which a large area. The Torc Waterfall is not too far away from the main entrance to Killarney National Park. There is only one road going out of Killarney to the national park and it is difficult to miss. There are signs along the way to point you to the waterfall and to the parking area.
