Queuing up for the Saadian Tombs

Must as I want to explore the Saadian Tombs, it seems I need to queue up for something. I honestly didn’t know what was at the end of this queue but it seems that everybody is lining up for it. This means that I was stuck in line. It would have been nice to have someone queue up for me while I go around and look at the other places in the necropolis. It would have worked both ways since I could queue up for them as well but I wasn’t friendly enough to ask someone to save my spot. Fortunately, I had a long lens with me so I can see enough without moving from my spot.

Immediately, I saw that I was actually right next to another mausoleum. I saw that there were intricate carvings on the archways of the mausoleum. This is very similar to the other Moroccan structures there I have seen all over the country. Since this place is a royal necropolis, great care has been made to make the place as beautiful as possible, starting with the mausoleums. I was able to make use of my telephoto lens to get a much closer look of the details of the mausoleum. It is really very fascinating to see it like this. Using the same lens, I can also see the tombstones in greater detail.
