Kmicic Restaurant

I spent the rest of the day at the apartment since I just wanted to relax. I didn’t really feel like going out anymore. I guess it was one of those days where I just wanted to stay in bed. I have been to a lot of places here in Poland and I think it is a very interesting country. From the two cities of Poland, I have seen a lot of places and I think I am content with what I have seen. I am trying to avoid amazing race type of trips since I don’t get to enjoy them anymore.

Soon, it was time for dinner. I have been to a few of the restaurants here in the Old Town of Warsaw. I was trying to find a place which I haven’t tried yet. I ended up going to a place called Kmicic Restaurant. It serves local cuisine and I got wild boar again. I guess, I don’t get to eat wild boar that much. It is nice that they serve that but I do wonder about the source of the wild boar and hope that it is not something that is hunted to near extinction. The menu has other rather unusual dishes which are under the heading game. Wild boar is just one of them. This is reflective of the history of Polish cuisine. It is nice to see that this is still the case now.
