Although the Royal Castle of Warsaw was a museum by itself. It still has a standalone museum. This was set up at the cellar of the castle. The museum is typical of European museums. It contains various historical artifacts from across the centuries. Unsurprisingly, the artifacts here on display were related to royalty. Various items which were used by the monarchy were on display here. One can gain an insight into how the kings lived back then. As one might expect, there were a lot items which were shiny, probably made of gold or silver. In a lot of ways, people haven’t really changed much.

Looking at the items on display here in the museum. One can get a sense of how sophisticated the people were back then. Perhaps only a few people were able to acquire such items such as the rich or royalty. I how the items can be readily seen from all angles. Some of the items like platters were even encrusted with precious stones. If it was only mean to serve food, why even need jewelry on it? Looking at these items, I realize how close we were to not being able to see these items. The quick thinking of the curator helped to save a lot of items from looting in the war. Sadly, not all of the items were saved. I’m not sure if everything has been returned either but looking at the exhibit, it seems they have enough to show future generations.
