I was glad that I was able to visit the home town of Pope John Paul II. This wasn’t part of the plan but I realized that I was already in the vicinity then I might as well visit the place. I managed to get back to Krakow in one piece. I merely needed to locate the main bus station of Wadowice and sure enough there was a bus which goes back to Krakow. I got a bit of rest back at the apartment before setting out again. This time, it was for dinner. It would be my last night in Krakow and I wanted to have a nice dinner.

I keep passing by this interesting restaurant on my way to the old town square of Krakow, but it seemed to be difficult to be a walk in customer. I tried a couple of nights but I didn’t have any luck. This time I made sure to book ahead. Pod Aniołami seems to be one of those fancy restaurants here in Krakow but there is something to be said about the ambience of the restaurant. It is actually in a 13th century cellar. One would need to walk down a few flights of stairs to get to the seating area. As far as presentation goes, this place already seems to be an interesting place. I was glad to be able to book a seat.
