New Church of All Saints in Blizne

I was heading back to the car after exploring the Church of All Saints in Blizne when I noticed another church across the road. It was obviously a modern church made out of concrete but what stood out for me was the architecture of the church. It has a tall central spire which the front of the church rises to. While the rest of the roof comes down in layers almost like wings. In a way, it seems to be similar in design to the nearby UNESCO World Heritage site especially with the prominent roof. I thought it was an interesting design and very different from the traditional church designs which are common in Europe. As it turns out, the name of this church is also the Church of All Saints.

Entering the New Church of All Saints in Blizne

With a confusing name like the Church of All Saints right next to the original Church of All Saints, I’m pretty sure people would just go with the old or the new church. I doubt that the old church sees too much activity seeing as to how fragile it can be. Then again, it has lasted several centuries, it is probable that can last several more. Perhaps the wood was treated which is why it lasts longer than normal. I actually got in the new Church of All Saints but I couldn’t take photos since everyone was looking at me with my camera. No one really said anything but I refrained from taking photos. I didn’t linger too much at the new church since I needed to be on my way.
