Inside the Church of All Saints in Blizne

I found the Church of All Saints in Blizne very attractive. This is because of the original shape the church has. I am used to the traditional form of churches found all over the world. This is the first time I have seen a church that is made of wood and has this type of architecture. The architecture type is said to be Gothic though it is a bit difficult to say. What is most distinct about the church is the extremely prominent roof. It is quite amazing that this church survived up to this time despite being made from supposedly non-durable material. I wondered about this since it was also drizzling that day.

I head to the entrance of the church to see how it looks like inside. It can be difficult to find since much of the church is roof. Visitors can come in the church but the main hall was closed off at the time of my visit. I wasn’t surprised to see how dark the interior was. I can see the main hall but that was about it. There were murals on the walls of the church and they seemed to be quite detailed, it is a pity that I can’t get a closer look. There was also wooden pews in front of the altar. It is a shame I can’t see the altar itself since I only have a very narrow angle to work with. I wasn’t sure if it is possible have this place opened when visiting but there was no one around to talk about it or to show me around.
