The tour group was left to explore the rest of the area on their own. Looking at the map, it seems that the place is a closed loop with several chambers along the way. I wasn’t sure what to expect here but I was mildly surprised see a restaurant in one of the chambers. This actually feels more like a canteen type of restaurant where you get a tray and pick what you want. As one might expect, there were a lot of people here. In fact, there was already a queue to get food. I decided to quickly queue since I was already hungry.

The chamber appears to have ample seating for visitors, but I doubt they would be able to handle people during a public holiday. I got my food and managed to get myself a table. It feels rather strange to be having lunch while knowing that you are so deep underground. They probably have very good ventilation in here to pump fresh air into the chambers. I felt that it was a refreshing change of pace since we have been walking through the dark tunnels for so long that the bright lights of the restaurant were very comforting. They even have cellphone signal here. Talk about convenient.
