Malin Beg

Malin Beg

Malin Beg

I was brought to another part of Donegal country which was still along the Wild Atlantic Way. This place is known as Malin Beg. The best way I can describe Malin Beg is it is like some hidden cove which reveals a big beach. As I was coming from tha car park, I was already catching a glimpse of this beach. I didn’t realize that such as place was hiding here. I actually never heard of the place from any of my friends until I came here. I so glad I came. There is a ledge which lets visitors have a look at the beach from above.

I really liked the view. The beach is unspoilt and not commercialized like most beaches in Ireland. The ledge where I was on is already quite close the beach that I was almost looking directly down at the beach. My wide angle camera could hardly fit the view of the beach. It is actually nice to be just sitting back and just admiring the beach here. There is a long flight of stairs which leads to the beach below. I didn’t bother going down the stairs since I know I prefer this view. Besides, I didn’t want to get sand in my shoes.
