Moving on to County Tipperary

Glenstal Abbey

I didn’t really plan my trip very well, as I only allocated one night stay at the city of Limerick. I underestimated the time I would be able to explore places and I was completely blindsided by the heavy rain that night. I decided to call it quits and I head to the modern city center for some warm dinner of Japanese Ramen. It was a place recommended by my good friend and it was actually nice. I must have been in too much of a hurry to finish my dinner that I forgot about the rain outside. Before long, I was out in the streets again. Fortunately, it was still bright outside so I had plenty of time to get lost but only if I was dry. Anyway, I managed to find my way back to my accommodations and quickly fell asleep.

The next day was much better than the previous day. There was actually sun and it was patches of blue sky. It seems it promises to get better. I was looking forward to this and I decided to head out early in the day. I was leaving county Limerick and heading on to the nearby county Tipperary. I know I am missing a lot of Limerick but there was a place which I really wanted to see, especially when it is a beautiful day. The drive actually doesn’t take very long since the bulk of the long drive is done. My next stop will be Glenstal Abbey.
