Exploring Glenevin Falls

Some Benches at Glenevin Falls

I am not expecting too much from our visit to Glenevin Falls. I don’t expect the falls to be very high although with the dark clouds perhaps the falls will have more water than normal. Maybe this is something to look forward to. Glenevin Falls is in the area of Inishowen and it is one of the attractions of the area. The falls can be easily accessed by visitors. This place has been turned into a park and there is a very well made trail within the park. The park makes full use of the streams of water that come through the park and there were several parts of the path where you can cross the stream.

The path here is wooded and there was still a lot of greenery despite the onset of autumn, I guess it might take a while before everything turns brown. There were several places where visitors can have a sea and probably have a picnic. The environment is quite nice and it would be great to have a picnic here. I’m sure that in better weather people do come and have picnics here. The paths slowly ascends although you probably won’t notice it that much since that path is that gentle. The walk to the falls is around 30 minutes but you probably won’t even notice it since you are busy admiring the scenery here.
