Crystal Clear Waters of Perhentian Kecil

It was been a long time since I have last been to a good beach. Most of my vacations, I have spent exploring the historical sites of China, but once in a while I would visit more accessible places, such as Malaysia. On second thought, this might not be as accessible as I wanted it to be since I had to travel almost half a day just to get here. This is the end point of our exhausting trip. But somehow, I don’t feel exhausted at all. The crystal clear waters of Perhentian Kecil fill my eyes as I has been too long since I have seen this kind of sight. I was thinking to myself that no wonder my friend wanted to visit this place. It was absolutely beautiful. To top it all off, it wasn’t the crazy tourist hell that Phuket has turned out to be.

The jetty at Perhentian Kecil was a nice introduction to the island. From here we can see most of the beach of Perhentian Kecil. The other side of the island also a long beach but that is another post for another day. The jetty features a long walkway crossing the water which brings visitors to the beach itself. All my exhaustion from the day long trip suddenly vanished. All I wanted is just to take numerous photos. The weather was fabulous with blue skies complementing the crystal clear waters of the island. Even though we still have our stuff with us, we were already shooting photos. Maybe we should start looking for a place to stay before the sun goes down.
