Changchun Long Distance Bus Terminal 长春客运中心站

It was great spending the night at the Home Inn, it was my first time to stay in such accomodations in a while, I may have forgotten how it is to stay in the place like that. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was okay, although it wasn’t at the center of everything, at least it was quiet. I needed to get up early to catch the bus which will take me out of Changchun. Changchun after all, was just a stopover for me on my way to another city in Jilin province. The previous day, I purchased a ticket to my destination and I was quite surprised they actually go there. I was under the assumption that I would need to take a very slow train ride to get there. Great at least I don’t have to trouble myself with the train as I’m not very fond of the slow Chinese trains.

The Changchun Long Distance Bus Terminal is located near the Changchun Railway Station. It wasn’t really as large as the other bus stations I saw, and it seemed to be dark and crowded. This was quite unlike the massive train station that was nearby. I had a vague idea where the bus station was, so I just took a bus to the railway station and got off a station or two before it. The station was busy as expected. After passing through the usual round of security checks, it was time to leave Changchun. This trip will take me around four to five hours to complete, hopefully in time for lunch.
