After that wonderful dinner, we tried to figure out how to get back to the hostel. We had trouble trying to figure out the buses to take but and taking a cab was next to impossible. It was then that I recognized the place, I had been in this area the previous time and I remembered which direction that hostel was. It wasn’t really a long walk and we were thankful that we did not purchase the train tickets or we would have definitely run out of time. It took us about thirty minutes to walk back to the hostel and we quickly got back our stuff. A cab brought us to the train station where we bought tickets and slept our way to Shanghai, which turned out to be a very short nap since it only lasted twenty minutes.

The next day, we were heading off to another city, it made me wonder why didn’t we just go there directly instead of having to rush back to Shanghai and back out. Anyway, we were back at the Shanghai Hongqiao Railway station on our way to the ancient city of Suzhou. This time around though, we knew how to purchase tickets and wasted no time to do so. We had breakfast at a new place this time called Dongfa Jibai 东方既白, according to Google Translate, it means East Dawning. I had some kind of pie for breakfast with my trusty soybean milk. It was another one of those Chinese fast food restaurants until I noticed that actually have ties to KFC which incidentally also has a large following here.
