Going to Chenghuang Temple 城隍庙

Temple Building on top of Wushan 吴山

Temple Building on top of Wushan 吴山

The climb up the Wushan was a short one, there wasn’t much feeling of isolation as the entire mountain was quite well developed. We even passed by a parking lot no doubt for the visitors of the temple up the mountain. There wasn’t much on top of the mountain. There were two buildings on top of the hill one was a temple, and another was a viewing deck of sorts. I was relieved that there weren’t any people on top, but it wasn’t to be.

Now Without Any Tourists

Now Without Any Tourists

Just a few minutes after we got there. There was a group of Korean tourists noisily making there way to the temple grounds. Annoyingly, the took their sweet time to take a group photo in front of the temple. For some reason it was taking an extremely long time just to get that shot. However, once done, the tour guide rushed them into the temple, with luck, they will be out by the time we get there.
