To the End of Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

Walking Along the Promenade

Walking Along the Promenade

After the uninteresting Avenue of Stars along the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade area. I saw that there is still a lot of walking to be done. With my friend still at work, I had the whole afternoon to explore the area. I decided to see where the promenade leads. The crowds thin out after the Avenue of Stars and most of the people walking along this stretch are mostly residents who need to go somewhere, although once in a while the occasional tourist would still pop up.

What Narrowing Harbour?

What Narrowing Harbour?

The promenade area stretches all the way to Tsim Sha Tsui East and to Hung Hom in Kowloon. From here you get to see a side of Victoria Harbour which is hardly seen in brochures. This is where you realize that the harbour is still big and it won’t be disappearing anytime soon. Of course it really is a matter of perspective since I was looking at it from and oblique angle and there is more water from this angle. The walkway here becomes elevated and you can see quite a bit of the harbour from here.
