Large Jinshan Tower at the Great Wall 长城 at Jinshanling 金山岭
What I had neglected to tell you is that all along this hike of the Great Wall of China, I was constantly hounded by hawkers. In fact, the tourist crowd is so thin here in Jinshanling that I believe there were more vendors here that tourists. This may or may not be a bad thing. The good is that there were very few tourists. The bad is that those few tourists become easy targets for the vendors. One in particularly was quite persistent, my mistake is that I talked to them in Chinese which made them more bold to approach me. Anyway, it was a good change since I was walking by myself anyway.
