The Prague Old Town Square is certainly one of the centerpieces of the city of Prague. The place just says how elegant this place is at par or even beyond the likes of Paris. There are several impressive buildings around the square but none can take my eyes away from the towering Church of Our Lady before Týn. I have seen quite a few churches here in the country and they were all of various styles. However, I haven’t seen one in the style which this church has. The church is a gothic church, but style is unlike any of the churches that we visited here.

The church was two bell towers and it has multiple spires. The spires on top of each tower have their own spires. I know sometimes it can be overdone but in this case, it was still very tasteful. In classic gothic style, everything has to be very tall and you can tell since you can still clearly see the church even though it is behind a building. It was already evening and there were lights which illuminate the church. This gives it even more prominence in the square which already is illuminated by lights. When I was doing my research on Prague, my eyes would keep getting drawn to this uniquely designed church. It was almost surreal to see it in real life. We won’t be able to get in the church since it was already evening but I hope we would be able to visit it in the days ahead.
