When we initially drove in the town of Telč that morning, the thing I remember the most was the view of a structure by the river. I didn’t know what it was but it was a very good introduction to the city because the feeling was further enhanced when we saw the very well preserved town center with its baroque and renaissance style houses. This reminded me of very fancy places like somewhere in Italy with its wide piazzas and statues adorning its streets. However, we were in Czechia and as of the time of our visit, there weren’t too many visitors as of yet, though it is considered to be one of the most charming town in the country.

As part of our visit, we ended up walking around the old town and finally by a river which runs past the town. It was this spot that we saw on the way in the town. My friends and I were very impressed with the view and naturally took the obligatory photos here. There were a small bridge which crosses the Telč River which brings us back to the town center. I don’t know if the riverside walk was part of the tour of a visit to Telč but I would highly recommend taking that short walk along the river for what is probably one of the best spots in town.
