While it may seem that I am constantly traveling with all these posts, I would be several months after Italy before I would be able to travel again. This time around, I would have friends with me. As you might know, I always travel alone and I believe this would be a very different kind of trip for us. We would be going to the beautiful Czech Republic or just Czechia. Honestly, apart from Prague, I know next to nothing about this country and I think it would be a great opportunity to see what is nice to see here. However, it remains to be seen how much we can actually see since I would be traveling with other people this time.

We arrived in the city of Prague evening and it took some time for us to orient ourselves. We were planning to go outside of Prague so we rented a car but our accommodations didn’t have parking so we needed to figure out the parking system here. Turns out everything was all electronic, there is an app one can download where you can purchase parking tickets. It took some time for us to figure it out but eventually we were able to park the car somewhere and was head to our accommodations to check in. It turned out what we were very close to the main square but first things first – dinner.

By the time we checked into the accommodation, we were already starving. Fortunately, there were a lot of restaurants here in the area. We were looking something which is local and they have a lot of those restaurants here. I expect that the food would not be unlike German food. I think that is the typical food in this part of Europe. We ended up at this nearby restaurant called Bohemia Restaurace.

Bohemia Restaurace serves Czech cuisine and it is what I expected. There was a lot of meat and dumplings. Sausages were also common and I think we had a great dinner there. What is great about traveling with people is that I would get to try more kinds of food, which I did. To accompany all that food, we had another local drink – beer. I think we ordered a little too much but we still enjoyed the food. There is much exploring to do anyway.
