I was stunned to see a dazzling light show on display at the Piazza dei Signori in the city of Vicenza. I was hoping to get night shots of the heritage sites. These structures are usually light up at night but I was not expecting a full on light show complete with music. From my understanding, the light show happens on fixed times and I just happened to catch it as it was on display. The night was still young and I am sure that there would be more showings of the light show after this. For now, I think I would take photos of the buildings while the show is still going on.

There weren’t as many people appreciating the light show as I expected. There were still people there taking photos but there weren’t the crowds of people that I would have expected from a free show like this. I guess this is to be expected since it was already winter and thus there would be less visitors. In fact, that it one of the reasons what I prefer to do my traveling this time of the year. It was very easy to take photos since there won’t be a lot of people in front of you. What’s more, the show it bright enough that any people who happened to be there would be outshone by the light show. The main show actually ends and probably to prove that to me that the show was made for Christmas, there was a message of Merry Christmas at the end of the show.
