The Palazzo Chiericati another heritage building which was designed by the Andrea Palladio. This former country home features columns very prominently but it is more or less in line with Palladio’s design aesthetics. The building felt more like a government building with its looks though in reality, it isn’t one. In fact, it served as the city’s museum for hundreds of years which features the city’s art collection. The ticket I purchased included entrance into the museum, so I might as well have a look around even though I wasn’t too keen on museums.

The interiors of the museum were fantastic. In particular, the ceiling was very ornate, probably keeping in line with the fact that this is an art museum. I can’t really say too much about the art that is on exhibit here since I don’t know much about it. The pieces certainly look nice but I don’t see any particular one which is world famous, at least for me. As you might expect, I only went through the museum very quickly, since I was more interested in seeing the other works of Andrea Palladio. There are still several I have yet to visit and I need to keep moving.
