By the time I concluded my visit to the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua, it was already evening. The weather has cooled down quite a bit and there was a lot of fog outside. This made the church look even eerier. At least I got that done now and it was time for me to check in. Part of the reason why I decided to visit the basilica first was because I arrived a little too early of check in. So even with two backpacks in tow, I went and paid a visit to the basilica. I do this frequently so I know to not bring too much stuff with me. Besides, it isn’t like the hotel is that far anyway, in fact it is right outside the basilica.

I will be staying at the Hotel Casa del Pellegrino in Padova. The basilica itself is along a quiet street at least at the time of my visit. Quite strange considering how important the basilica is. Despite the cobblestone streets here, the hotel inside is quite modern. My room has a rather odd shape but it was very spacious and way more than I need but still much appreciated whenever I get these. My room had two single beds but I don’t remember what I actually booked but it doesn’t matter, it was not expensive and it was convenient enough to get to. It also has easy access to the historical sites of the city.
