I didn’t exactly go around exploring the town center of Conegliano that evening. At that point in the night, only the restaurants were open. Even the local Christmas fair was also closed so there wasn’t much to see anyway. I decided to call it a night and just continue the next day. The next day incidentally happens to be another day of driving. This time, my destination is the hills around the area of Conegliano. What is so special about them? The area around Conegliano is famous for their prosecco. In particular, the hills between Congeliano and Valdobbiadene are inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage site under the name The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.

I don’t know how much I can see here since there are various routes online, I will try to see most of the significant spots. I checked out of the hotel that morning and started early since I know that I will be driving most of the morning and probably part of the afternoon. The town of Conegliano isn’t big and I quickly found myself in the countryside before long. I can see that there are hills in the area and I wondered exactly which one is this prosecco hills. I would have to keep wondering for now since I arrived at my first stop which isn’t a hill but a church.
