Inside My Bedroom at Hotel Cima
Inside My Bedroom at Hotel Cima

It was mostly a whole afternoon of driving for me. I was making my way from Ortisei all the way down to the Venice region. Along the way, there would be beautiful scenery which forces me to stop every now and then. Eventually, I managed to leave most of the mountainous area that it was mostly flat land the rest of the way. I wasn’t heading to Venice itself, since I have been there previously, this time I was making my way to the commune of Congeliano. It is around thirty minutes away from Venice so it was close enough for a day trip from Venice if you want. I will be spending the night here and it was time to look for the hotel.

Hotel Cima is a rather nondescript hotel along the main road. I actually missed it the first time since all I saw was a bank facing the street. Turns out the hotel is on the right side of the building. I think I arrived a little early since it was very quiet at the hotel. I had to wait until someone came out of the door to go in. Either way, I was a little confusing for me. However, they more than made up for it through their hospitality. The one in charge was very friendly and it made it feel more like a bed and breakfast then a hotel, and I say that in a good way.

The lobby was a little dark probably because there wasn’t anyone there yet and it even feels like they were just opening for the day. I was given the key to my room. Which was decent enough. Pretty standard now with the bedroom and bathroom all being spotless and hardly anything to complain about. I went down to the lobby to go out and ended up chatting with the one in charge. I was given a glass of prosecco. I was happily chatting away when I felt a nosebleed coming probably because of the warm interiors. I quickly ran to the bathroom, with a bloody hand, much to their horror. It took some time to clear the nosebleed and soon I was back to my prosecco. The person in charge was concerned for me but I told them that I was fine now. After finishing the glass as well as the chat, I was on my way.
