I was very happy with the scenery as I was making my way down the mountain from Ortisei. I was making my way east towards the city of Venice but there are a lot of stops along the way. I suspect that this trip would take the whole day if I keep stopping every chance I get. It seems that I was given yet another chance here. This times there is a nearby ski resort and of course I needed to stop. Fortunately, I have a better reason to stop here and it is food. It was past lunch time and I needed to grab a bite.

Ristorante Bar Misoles is one which seems a little out of the way, but it is obviously meant to serve the people who come here to ski. Fortunately, it wasn’t that busy yet and I managed to get a seat. I would think that it would get busy soon since people would be streaming in here for lunch since this is the only place in the area. I ordered a plate of tripe which I didn’t expect in the place like this. It was cooked well and it was very tender. I thought I get this since this ones didn’t seem too common and it was good. To finish is all off I had a cup of coffee for a change. As you might know, Italy is known for the quality of their coffee and while I’m not much of a coffee drinker, I just needed to try it. This also serves a second purpose and that is to hopefully keep me awake for the rest of the drive.
