After an entire day of going around a portion of the Dolomites, I finally arrived at the town of Ortisei which was still within the Dolomites. It seems to be a significant town which is why I chose to stay here for the night. I was staying at the B&B Villa Angelino, which was actually better than I thought it would be. Despite its name of B&B it feels more like a hotel than a bed and breakfast. Additionally, it is within the town center and only a stone’s throw away from the pedestrian area. It was still early in the evening when I arrived here which means I have time to go around the town center.

Because I was so near the center, it felt much livelier compared to my stay at Cortina d’Ampazzo where I stayed outside the city center. Since I was already at the city center, I can leave the car behind and just go on foot to where all the action is. It was December when I visited, there was snow on the ground and the buildings were all decorated with Christmas lights. It was very festive and there were a lot of people walking around despite it being quite chilly. Since it was already evening, I thought that I should start looking for a place to eat. I am pretty sure there would be a lot of restaurants here.
