I was here at Sand Dune Arch in Arches National Park. I noticed that there was another trail which leads to someplace named Broken Arch. I was hesitating on going there since it is “broken” maybe it isn’t worth going to. Of course, I ended up following the trail anyway, the trail is much longer than the trail to Sand Dune Arch but at least it is flat and easy to follow. I was headed to a collection of sandstone structures in the distance. I think I have time so I there was not hurry for me to get there. There was a steady stream of visitors here but nothing that you would consider crowded. Eventually I reach the sandstone formations.

The broken arch can be clearly seen here. I am still not sure why it was named that since the arch seems to be rather complete at least to my eyes. The arch is much taller that the Sand Dune arch. Because it is an arch there is a large hole in the middle for visitors to go through. I didn’t bother doing that as I was happy to take photos from where I was. It seems the people I was with weren’t that keen on it either, likewise just taking photos and walking back. Soon, I would be doing the same as them.
