I enjoyed my visit to The Windows Section of Arches National Park. I was getting disappointed because thirty minutes into my visit to the park and I still haven’t seen a single arch. But they all made up for it in The Windows where there are several arches in a small area. It wasn’t the thousands or hundreds of arches that I was imagining but the ones they have there were one of the better ones, in particular the Double Arch. Still, I need to get going. I don’t want to be spending too my time here since I still have the rest of the park to visit.

The Windows Section of Arches National Park branches off from the main driving route, so I needed to get back there and continue with my visit. The next stop in the driving route is something called the Fiery Furnace. This is obviously referring to the color and shape of the rocks which make it appear like a fiery furnace – with a lot of imagination. There is a parking area here as well but you can tell that this isn’t as popular as The Windows since the car park isn’t as large. I was beginning to think that it was going to be all downhill from here as far as sights go. I’m sure the views will still be amazing but maybe not as good as The Windows.
