I had a very busy day out and I finally made it to Moab City after two more hours of driving. I will be staying put for the next few days so I think it would be nice break after constant driving. However, first things first – food. I haven’t had lunch and the only thing that I ate that morning was a sandwich I bought that morning. Needless to say, I was starving. As I was making my way to my accommodations for the night, I was keeping an eye out for any interesting places to eat at. One of these places that I noticed was The Broken Oar Restaurant so I decided to pay it a visit that evening.

The Broken Oar Restaurant is in a very attractive lodge and it serves typical American fare. However, I was here for barbeque which they seem to be very proud of. I got myself barbequed beef brisket. The size, unfortunately, was underwhelming. There were only three slices of meat given and I don’t think that was enough for my growling stomach. But that is all that bad about it. The meat itself was very tender. There was just the right amount of fat in it to keep it juicy. The meat was also seasoned just perfectly. Much as I would like to bemoan the fact that I only got three slices, it was probably the best barbequed beef brisket I’ve ever had. Highly recommended, just don’t expect huge servings for the beef brisket.
