I know I haven’t been around Czechia or the Czech Republic that much but I can tell that Telč is a special town. The square is surrounded by delightfully uniform baroque and renaissance era buildings. Of course, I say uniform very loosely. There would be differences between these buildings but at least they don’t try to stand out from each other. I seems that this was a conscious decision to rebuild the buildings this way. This decision eventually led to the city center being included in the UNESCO World Heritage site list.

There are shops on the ground floor but unless you actually go in, you won’t even know what kind of shops they are because much of the shop is hidden within the arcade. At this point in our visit, we thought that we were done. We decided to have a quick breakfast here before move out. There was only one shop in the square that was open at the time. I only have a simple sandwich and some hot chocolate. I don’t drink much coffee, even though I’m probably the one who needs it the most since I was the one driving.
