Telč is considered to be one of the most charming towns in Czechia or Czech Republic. My friends and I were visiting the town of Telč because I said so and I was driving. Telč is a UNESCO World Heritage site primarily because of the old town center. It is an amazing collection of baroque and renaissance style buildings which surround the town square. At the furthest end of the town square are also some heritage buildings, perhaps none as important as the chateau also known as Telč Castle.

I don’t know if I missed anything, but it seems that Telč Castle was freely accessible. We were able to just walk straight through the gate and soon found ourselves within the castle grounds. For a castle, it didn’t feel like it was that large. OF course, we were inside the castle, since that can be a totally different thing. We didn’t get in the actual castle itself, so I don’t really know what it looks like inside. We were in the inner courtyard most of the time but there was still stuff to see here.
