I knew that the village of Holašovice was small and thus, I didn’t expect us to spend that much time there. That is why I was surprised that we were there for several hours. We left early morning and it was already noon. Thought that we should have lunch first before we continue on our way. There isn’t a lot of choice here in Holašovice. We had to pick the only one that was open here – Holašovická Hospoda. Fortunately, the prices wasn’t horrible considering they were the only one open. There was a single staff on duty that time and we were worried how he would handle our orders.

It did take a bit of time to get our food since he was the only one working then. He took our orders and he was the one who prepared all of them. I won’t be able to do anything like that. It already takes me a lot of time to prepare food for myself what more for several people. More importantly, the food wasn’t bad. Then again, schnitzel isn’t exactly the most difficult dish to make. I honestly, can’t remember what we had even after looking at the photos. I think one of them was ribs. I think one of them was deer and of course the the schnitzel. Would it be too much if I say that this is the best place to eat in Holašovice, since it was the only one open at the time? I don’t see any other places here but I’m still glad that it was here.
