I spent the rest of the day just wandering around the Milan Cathedral area. There is a small Christmas market beside the cathedral and I was enjoying just having a look around the stalls in the area. It was already mid afternoon and I think I didn’t have time to go see other places this time of the day. I head back to Milano Centrale, my backpack was still at the hostel where I left it that morning, and thankfully it was still there. I was glad that there is this left luggage service nearby that I didn’t have to carry the backpack all around Milan.

I was taking my time around the Milano Centrale station looking for a place to have dinner. It only occurred to me that I wasn’t flying from the Milan Malpensa which I think is the main airport but rather the Milan Bergamo Airport. While both are away from the city of Milan, the one at Bergamo is slightly further. This means I still needed to figure out how to get to the airport. I thought there was a straight train from Milano Centrale to the airport but there is no such thing. To get to Milan Bergamo, one would need to take a bus from Milano Centrale to the airport. Looking at Milano Centrale, the bus stop would be on the right of the train station. There would be several bus stops here and it should be easy to find the buses.

The bus takes almost an hour to get to the airport, thankfully, there wasn’t any traffic going there. I thought that the airport was just a small regional airport but it is fairly large though but it still has that feel of a regional airport. Before flying, I thought to go for a quick dinner. I found this place called Rossopomodoro which is pizzeria. Of course, I went ahead and got my last pizza for this trip. I know I won’t be able to get this kind of pizza in a while so I thought to make the most of it. I know it is “just” airport pizza but from where I live, you can’t even find anything close to this.
