Rooftop of Milan Cathedral

I have a few more hours to go before I need to leave for the airport. I left my baggage at a nearby hostel and I already had a standing lunch at Jollibee Milan. With that out of the way, I can now start to do some last minute sightseeing. One of the main landmarks here in the city of Milan is the Milan Cathedral. I thought that there was an important painting that it housed here and I thought to go see it. The Milan Cathedral isn’t too far from the Jollibee. It was just a short walk and I was at the piazza in front of the cathedral. As you might expect, it was very busy because it was a Sunday. I head to the cathedral to see how I can go in.

There is a ticket to purchase to go for a rooftop tour. I’m not to sure about this but I thought that if they offer tour for it, then maybe it is important. I purchased a ticket to go to the top. Note that there is a normal way to go to the top and another is the express way. The normal way is to take the stairs all the way to the top. The express way is a lift to the top of the cathedral. I didn’t have time to waste to climb up the stairs and I just purchased the express ticket. I was directed to the southern lift. It was hard to miss since there was a big sign for it. Soon, I was up on the roof in no time.
