When I first arrived in the city of Verona, it was still early in the morning. This was obviously not a good time to check in the hotel since hotels usually have check ins in the afternoon. Even though I arrived early, I thought to go to the hotel and just drop my stuff so I don’t need to carry around two backpack while I go around the sightseeing. I ended up staying at Hotel Siena which is just outside the inner gates of the old city. It is a nice distance away from the center that you won’t need to worry about tourist crowds in this part of the city.

Hotel Siena is in a rather quiet part of the city but it is walking distance to the city center which is great. After a day of sightseeing in the Verona, I was done with my tour and I head back to the hotel to get some rest. It was a bit early for dinner but I thought to spend an hour just relaxing after all this is a vacation! The room was not the large but it was adequate for my use. It is nice and clean and the bathroom was surprisingly large compared to the suite itself. The bathroom was likewise spotless. As you can tell, I had a very pleasant time staying there. In the mornings, there is also breakfast so you can have a great Italian breakfast before heading out to see historic Verona.
