I was out in the city of Verona and by the time I was done, it was already night time. I got a great photos from all around the city and even though I know that I missed more than just a few spots, I was already happy enough with my visit. It was already dark then and I was making my way to the hotel which outside the old city center. This was still a great way to see the city of Verona at night. With all the monuments it has I’m sure that these monuments will be lit up at night. I ended up passing through the Piazza Bra which is the largest piazza in the city.

The piazza also has several monuments which I visited earlier in the day. It was hard to miss the Arena Verona which is an ancient Roman amphitheater. At this time of the night, the arena walls are lit up not unlike the Colosseum in Rome. The Palazzo della Gran Guardia, a palazzo that was built in the seventeenth century, is similarly lit up. These two structures are separated by more than a thousand years worth of history and they are amazingly still here. The respective structures were tastefully lit up. I like how the city makes the effort to make these monuments nice to look at even at night. This makes Verona such a pleasant place to wander around in even at night.
