One of the magical sights to see when it comes to visiting an old European city is how it looks when the sun goes down. More often than not, the old world cities light up their historical buildings. A lot of these buildings are lit up by beautiful lights to great effect. It is very different from how a cosmopolitan city such as a New York City or a Hong Kong would look like. The old city of Verona is not different from the other old world cities. I was done taking photos from the Castel San Pietro which overlooks the city of Verona. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a tripod with me, so I can’t really take a lot of shots from the top.

I made my way down the hill in no time. I saw that the Ponte Pietra, the oldest monument of the city of Verona, is lit up. I like how the bridge is lit up as it can be clearly seen against the dark waters of the River Adige. The bridge also happens to be a great spot for taking photos of the city at least by the river. The feel of the city really changes when the sun goes down and it suddenly feels like the city just turned off. There are still lights but all a sudden it felt like the city was way less busy compared to how it was earlier. I guess if I can’t see the people because there is less light, then it would feel like it would be less busy.
