I was making full use of the Italian transport system which is remarkably efficient. I was making my way out of Vicenza and on to the next city. I was slowly making my way to the big city of Milan where I would take my flight home. My next stop is the city of Verona. It is only half an hour away from Vicenza. I know that Verona is one of the more popular places in this region. Even I have heard of it, though I didn’t know what people come here for. I came here because I know that it is a UNESCO World Heritage site but I didn’t look too much in to the details so I can still have that sense of wonder when visiting a new place. It isn’t that good if I know exactly what to see in a place even before going there.

The train ride from Vicenza to Verona was uneventful. I was a little disappointed that the ride was as short as it is, since I don’t even get to sleep on the train. It was only a thirty minute ride and soon enough, I was already at the Verona Railway Station. Even though it was a little early in the morning, I can already tell that Verona is much busier compared to Vicenza. The city is a major tourist attraction and there was bound to be a lot more tourists here.
