After a whole day of visiting all the Andrea Palladio designed heritage structures in Vicenza, I was definitely tired. Not all of the heritage structures were within the city. The villas in particular are outside the city and would be more challenging to visit if you don’t have your own transportation which I don’t. I only managed to visit one of these Palladian villas and it turned out to be under renovation. I head back and continued with the rest of the Palladian structures already in the city and head a great dinner by the Piazza dei Signori. I hung out for a while at the restaurant since I don’t really have anything better to do, but I eventually left to go back to the hotel.

I was only spending a single night here in Vicenza and I will be leaving the next day. I know this is not the best way to visit the place but I can’t afford to stay too long in one place. I spent a wonderful night at the hotel and I was soon out and back in the Vicenza Railway station. My next destination is still along the main route going to Milan and it will only be a short ride. I am very happy with the transportation in this part of the country since I don’t need to drive and it is actually very comfortable. Purchasing tickets is a breeze once you get used to the kiosk application. It was still early in the morning so there weren’t too many people at the train platform.
