I got on an early train out of the city of Padova and moved on to the nearby city of Vicenza. Unlike Padova, I have never heard of Vicenza, so I was quite curious as to what I can see here, but I have a feeling it would be more of the same things which I have seen these past few days. Vicenza is only less than twenty minutes away from Padova, so it was a very short train ride. I like how well developed the train system is here, it makes traveling so much easier. I arrived at the Vicenza railway station in no time. Unfortunately, it seems to be rather wet here. Hopefully, that isn’t a sign of things to come.

It was still early in the morning and I was quite early. The train station was very quiet and it seems that not too many people came here at least for that time in the morning. This is good at least I can get a head start on them. The train station was a just a short distance outside the actual city. I walked in the city and I thought that I should find the hotel where I would be staying at and at least get rid of my bags. Unfortunately, when I went to look for the hotel, the main door was closed, which I thought was odd. Maybe there weren’t any guests and I was really too early, and they won’t open until check in time. I decided to just have a walk around while waiting for the hotel to open.
