Whenever I travel, I try to maximize the time I have by visiting as many places as I can. This includes the cities themselves, so it would be strange to for me to stay in one place for two nights. It just so happened that my schedule allowed me to stay here for two nights. It managed to visit the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua on the first night and visited the rest of the historic sites the following day. I won’t be traveling that far anymore after this. There is a very convenient train from Padova to my next destination – Vicenza.

From Venice, I was slowly making my way towards the big city of Milan. Along the way, I would plan my route along the train line and hopefully be able to hit several important places along the way while I was at it. Fortunately, Vicenza was along the way. I took an early morning train from Padova to the city of Vicenza. Fortunately, it looks like the rain has stopped. Hopefully, it stays that way for the rest of the day. I know nothing about Vicenza apart from it being a UNESCO World Heritage site. I think this is one of those places which have several sites which comprise the listing. I’m looking forward to this.
