I have been driving for a while now. I was making my way from the Dolomites down to the Venice area where I would return my rental car. Along the way, I would be seeing magnificent scenery of the Dolomites and I can’t help but stop. My next stop it yet another beautiful panorama and that is the Bevedere di Colle Santa Lucia. At this point in the drive, there is noticeably less snow on the ground. Of course the mountains still have their snow cover but the more I go down the mountain, the less snow there is on the ground now.

I was still on a mountain road and it was slow progress since there road was winding through the mountains and it was difficult to drive fast in these kinds of roads. Not that I mind, since there is a lot of see along the way. The Belvedere di Colle Santa Lucia is a viewing point on the way to Colle Santa Lucia. There is a parking spot beside a restaurant which overlooks the valley below. The restaurant wasn’t operational at that time. There is still a viewing point here and you get a great view of the nearby mountains as well as the valley below. It seems that there is still a way to go before I reach sea level.
