This drive down the Dolomites is proving to be an incredible trip. So far there aren’t any alpine lakes to see along this route which is a little disappointing but this is more than made up for by the stunning mountain scenery in the area. I was very happy to be passing here. I only set my destination as Venice while letting the road to the work of telling me where to stop. It was not hard to know when to stop since I would see stunning views all around and sure enough there would be a parking lot not too far being.

I entered the village Corvara which seemed to be yet another village known for its skiing. I have seen enough skiing for this trip and I decided to keep going, that is until I saw parking lot a little past the village. That is when I knew that I had to stop. Sure enough there was a viewing area not too far from the parking lot and I had to go there. There wasn’t anyone else there so I had the whole place all to myself. As you can see, the whole area is covered in pristine snow but I wanted to get toe viewing area to get the “official” shot. Actually, it probably didn’t matter that much since the view right in front of me.
