I got my fill of snow mountains here in Seceda, which itself was already a surprise for me since I didn’t even know about this place. I was originally just going to stay the night in Ortisei and then travel back down the mountain but I found out that there was a nearby mountain I could go up to and the rest was history. I will be taking the cable car back down the mountain. It seems that everyone was still going up for their skiing and there wasn’t anyone going down. This was perfect for me since I will get a cable car all to myself.

I think it would be more accurate to call this a gondola since the cable car is the smaller type which can fit around four to six people. This gondola is the size of a small bus and it is used to carry a lot more people to the top. Needless to say there was a lot of space here all for myself. There was still an operator of the gondola but apart from that I had the entire thing all to myself. Unlike the trip to the top, this time, I can see the view. The gondola ride is steeper than the cable car ride and in my opinion offers the better view. I was quickly taking my photos since I only get once chance to ride this gondola. I think the lighting is much better now and I was enjoying this beautiful alpine scenery.
