From the top of Seceda, one can see a lot of the mountains in this area. In fact, the panoramic map nearby can show you the names of these features which, honestly, didn’t interest me. Looking around, one feature dominates the scenery, it is the Odle Peaks. These are a group of rocky mountains which stick out quite prominently from the rest of the mountain range. Seceda has a great view of these peaks and you can even see how steep they actually are. The years of erosion have formed slopes which are very steep. I don’t know if it is possible to climb these peaks but somehow I think some people have already done that.

In the summer, there are numerous hiking trails here and one of the highlights of a visits would certainly be a hike around these peaks. My eyes see the tips of waves or rock which forms the Odle Peaks. Because of how steep they are, not a lot of snow accumulates here. This is in contrast to the more or less flat terrain which comprises Seceda. This lack of snow exposes the underlying rock beneath making it more wild. I enjoy looking at this kind of scenery. I am glad that I don’t have to travel too far see this.
