I don’t know if I was making good time or I was taking to slow here in my quick tour of the Dolomites. I only have a day to drive around this area of the Dolomites and I was trying to make the most of the time here. It might be silly to hear this but I wasn’t expecting everything to be frozen at this time of the year. I knew it was December but I guess, I just don’t live here and I don’t know what the conditions are in December. Fortunately, the roads are clear of snow and ice and it was very safe to drive around here. I will continue on with the tour and at the same time be conscious of the time since the days are shorter in December.

My next stop is another lake. I only knew about this only because I saw that there were a lot of vehicles parked outside. They way more visitors here compared to Tre Cime where there was only one other car which was there. This lakeside parking area was quite crowded because of all the visitors. This also made it a little challenging to park but I managed to find a spot to park. The parking lot was right beside the lake, so it was just a short walk to the lake shore. This is Lago di Dobbiaco, another lake which is a little larger than the Lago di Landro I visited area. I hope that because there are more people here, it would mean that it would be better to visit as well.
