Going to the Zion Human History Museum

Mountains Behind the Zion Human History Museum

I was happy with my photos of the Three Patriarchs at Zion National Park. I got lucky since there were some clouds near the peaks of the Three Patriarchs, at the same time, there was a bit of sun shining which only added to the good lighting. I didn’t go on any of the hikes in the area, since they were too long. I probably would have gone had they been only three miles long but the ones in the area were much longer than that. Because of this, I made my way back to the visitor center. There were some structures here that I haven’t visited yet and one of these is the Zion Human History Museum.

The Human Histroy Museum is a short distance away from the visitor center. I thought it was strange that it was a separate building from the visitor center. I would imagine that they won’t get as many visitors as the visitor center. There is some parking here at the museum so visitors can still drive here if they chose to not walk. The building is a simple and almost worn down building but I think it still serves its purpose. I was about to go in the museum when I noticed that there was an open area behind the museum. This faces the cliffs behind the building and I thought it was a good scene. They even have benches here if you just want to view the scenery but I think it is more for talks by the park rangers. However, even if there was a talk by the park rangers, I don’t think I would be able to pay attention because of the scenery behind them.
